WHY WE EXIST

Too many children in Liberia face poverty, hunger, and limited access to education—challenges that can shape a child’s future before they ever have a chance to dream.

This mission is deeply personal. Before coming to the United States, our founder experienced these hardships firsthand. There were nights when there was no food at home—days when a few pieces of pepper and salt were all that was available before sleep. School days often ended with returning to an empty home, and there were times of being sent out of class because school fees could not be paid. The home they lived in had no proper floors or room doors, only the main entrance.

These experiences planted a lifelong burden and calling: to ensure that no child is denied dignity, nourishment, education, or hope simply because of where they were born. GOSH Foundation exists to turn lived hardship into lasting change—restoring hope and creating opportunities for children to thrive.
